New RUS Coordinating Committee elected for the three-year period 2022 - 2024
on Friday February 11, 2022 75 Delegates participated to the General Assembly of the Network of Universities for Sustainable Development in attendance and remotely .
In the wonderful setting of the Valentino Castle of the Politecnico di Torino, coordinator of the Network for the three-year period 2019 - 2021, President Patrizia Lombardi and the coordinators of the Working Groups presented the activities of the three-year period 2019 - 2021 and highlighted the development and results of the Network to which 81 universities now adhere. The President also took the opportunity to thank the members of the outgoing Coordination Committee and the coordinators of the Working Groups for their commitment during this three-year period.
During the meeting, the vote for the new Coordination Committee for the three-year period 2022 - 2024 was also held. With the participation of 92.6% of those entitled to vote, the following were elected Politecnico di Bari, Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, Università degli Studi "G. D'Annunzio" Chieti Pescara, Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro, Università degli Studi di Brescia, Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza”, Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata, Università di Pisa, Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria plus Politecnico di Torino, designated by CRUI. Voting took place online through the open source platform "Eligere".
The President of the next Coordinating Committee will be identified from the new Coordinating Committee and appointed by the Coordinating Committee at its first meeting.
