EVENT

The University of Turin, through the Green Office UniTOGO, organized "Sharp Eyes Wandering Through Turin," an event in collaboration with Sofia Pasotto and ORMA Guides.

The event featured the company of Sofia Pasotto, an environmentalist dedicated to raising awareness and educating on environmental issues, during a walk through the streets of Turin, heading towards Parco Dora. The city was explored with the aim of developing more attentive and critical perspectives, seeking out realities and solutions that could contribute to making the city socially and ecologically sustainable. The goal was to provide the tools needed to view the surrounding city with a critical eye and to gain greater awareness of the effects of climate change on daily life, as well as the possible solutions that could make a city more inclusive and livable for its inhabitants.

THEMATIC ANALYSIS

EVENT

The CERS of Mirafiori (Turin) and Oremo Energia Solidale (Biella) will meet at Cascina Oremo to discuss different strategies through which a common CER (Renewable Energy Community) can become a CERS: a CER with an extra "S" for Solidarity! An initiative that makes possible a responsible use of the economic benefits derived from the shared management of energy, as well as the enhancement of the local community. The key to this lies in the exchange of "Energy" between people, understood as positive energy that cannot be measured by meters.

The meeting will be "moderated" through an experiment with "Correnti Nuove," a board game created by the Nemo Cooperative together with the creative game laboratory LudoLabo, aimed at facilitating the creation of CERS and interactions between the actors who can bring it to life.

THEMATIC ANALYSIS

  • Accompany a community context towards an energy transition that includes system innovation.
  • Increase knowledge and awareness about saving, producing, consuming, and exchanging energy within the same local community.
  • Encourage group work between public administrations and organizations capable of helping the territory achieve its programmed objectives.
  • Stimulate reflection and subsequent action on how to manage and enhance the common good of "energy," which the community can have with some planning margins and, consequently, investment.
