The Sustainable Development Festival 2020
At its fourth edition, the Festival of Sustainable Development, organized by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASVIS), is the largest Italian initiative to raise awareness and mobilize citizens, younger generations, firms, associations and institutions on issues of economic, social and environmental sustainability, to spread the culture of sustainability and to achieve a cultural and political change that will allow Italy to implement the UN 2030 Agenda and achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Festival was held for 17 days, as the 17 SDGs, from September 22 to October 8, 2020 throughout Italy and also included events in the "surroundings" of the Festival, during the weeks of September 15-21 and October 9-15.
Also the RUS, already protagonist of the extraordinary university mobilization recorded during the previous editions of the Festival, contributed to the success of the Festival. In addition to the numerous events organized by the universities under the patronage of RUS (Events sponsored by RUS), at the national level the Network organized 4 events, one of which was of international scope:
September 17, 2020 - Conference "University, City and Territory - New models and trajectories of sustainable development". Opening event of Urbanpromo Green.
