The RUS Sicilia Regional Network was established in April 2024. The Regional Network has set itself the explicit objective of spreading the culture of sustainability and good sustainability practices, both within and outside Sicilian universities (at the urban, regional, national, and international levels).

In this way, the Regional Network aims to increase the positive impacts in terms of environmental, ethical, social, and economic actions carried out by its members, contribute to the achievement of the UN's SDGs, and strengthen the recognition and value of the Sicilian experience at national and international levels.

Member universities: Università di Catania, Università degli Studi di Messina, Università degli Studi di Palermo.

Leader university until June 30, 2025: Università degli Studi di Palermo.
