ASviS promotes the Festival of Sustainable Development, an initiative to raise awareness and cultural and political elaboration, arrived at the second edition and spread throughout the country in order to promote the Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) signed by the UN General Assembly in September 2015. The Festival represents the main Italian contribution to the European Sustainable Development Week (Esdw) and was held from May 22 to June 7, 2018.

The RUS Universities contributed a fundamental role to the Festival, organizing 294 events and helping to involve many of the leading experts on the various SDGs, as well as college students from all over Italy. Among the many events scheduled in the Festival calendar, we highlight 20 national events, in which some RUS Universities were present and active, in particular in:

"Goal 4 event: Generation 2030 on May 24 in Turin
“Goal 11 event: Urban Agendas for Sustainable Development on May 25 in Bologna;
"Goal 12 event: New Models of Finance, Production and Responsible Consumption in Italy on May 29 in Taranto.
