RUS for the Expo 2030 Roma Bid Commitee

RUS collaborated with the Expo 2030 Roma Bid Committee in the publication of "Expo 2030 Rome for Healthy Oceans. A priority for SIDS and the entire world".

On the theme of the Small Island Developing States (SIDS), the publication brings together 71 projects - coming from various Italian universities and institutions - dedicated to promoting the health, protection, resilience and improved management of the oceans, respecting their crucial role for life on our planet.

The goal is to bring these projects to life through a collaboration between Italy and other countries that, like Italy, consider the seas and oceans a crucial economic and social resource, and therefore an asset to be protected and enhanced.

Expo 2020 Dubai took place in the United Arab Emirates from October 1st, 2021 to March 31st, 2022. 

About 200 countries participated in the Exposition, including Italy. The theme of Expo 2020 Dubai was "Opportunity, Sustainability and Mobility": opportunity to unleash the potential of both individuals and communities to create a better future; sustainability in terms of accessibility and resilience of environmental energy and water resources; mobility for creating innovative systems of logistics, transport and communication of people, goods and ideas. 

The RUS Network collaborated with the Commissariat of Italy for Expo 2020 Dubai to promote and enhance the activity that the Italian University System carried out in the path towards Expo 2020 Dubai.

RUS PARTICIPATES IN THE THEMATIC WEEKS PRE-EXPO 2020 DUBAI

Some representatives of the RUS participated in the "Pre-Expo Dubai 2020 Thematic Weeks", a series of global digital events promoted by Expo 2020 Dubai that involve the participating countries allowing them to deal with the contents of the thematic weeks and the  events that will take place in the Pavilions of the World Expo.
