GREEN FOOD WEEK 2023
During Green Food Week 2023, Feb. 13-17, Italian canteens will join together to offer sustainable menus, featuring dishes with less environmental impact.
Green Food Week is an initiative promoted by Foodinsider and this year it takes place within the week of M’illumino di meno, the Day of Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles launched by the Rai Radio2 Caterpillar, with the aim of enhancing and spreading low environmental impact food, which is good for health and the environment.
"Green Week is meant to be a time of celebration to be carefully prepared by involving everyone: those who prepare the dishes, those who serve them, those who consume them, and, at school, those who promote their consumption. Green Food Week is not only an opportunity to change the menu with more sustainable dishes, but it is a time to share knowledge to spread the meaning and value of 'food friendly to the Planet'"
