Students from the Course on the Valorization of Primary and Secondary Resources, coordinated by Professor Alessandra Bonoli from the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental, and Materials Engineering, gathered at via Terracini 28 for waste collection in the external area of the Department on Wednesday, the 22nd, from 9 am to 11 am.

This initiative, open to everyone and organized by the University of Bologna for the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) (November 18-26), aims to promote awareness actions on sustainability and proper waste management.

In 2023, the focus of the campaign was on waste prevention. Each action of the EWWR intends to demonstrate how every member of society – including individual citizens – can creatively contribute to reducing waste personally and communicate this action-oriented message to others.

Alma Mater's participation in the EWWR aligns with events organized by other universities in the RUS Network.
