Are you a student of a RUS university? Are you passionate about graphics and illustrations? Design the RUS Report cover image 2021!

All the projects we receive will be published on the RUS website, but only one will be on the report cover. It could be yours!

Further information about the RUS Report
The RUS Report is an annual publication about the network, its evolution and activities. It aims at conveying the RUS liveliness and richness to as many stakeholders as possible. Have a look at the reports realized so far at this link. The report focuses not just on providing an up-to-date picture of the network and the activities organized during the past year, but also on particular subjects.

The 2021 report theme that will inspire your cover image is therefore “The universities for territories in the year of climate ambition”.

Technical guidelines for the cover image
The image, that will be insert in a 150x210 mm cover, must respond to these technical features:

•  125x165 mm vertical image
• Unique background color chosen according to the RUS palette, white included (download here the RUS chromatic palette) 
• All the colors used must be chosen according to the RUS palette.                                     

A vector graphic file (for example .ai, .eps) and a .pdf file at high resolution are requested.

Who can participate
Any student enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD program at one university joining the RUS (check here if your university is member of the RUS). 

How to submit your cover image

By December 12:

• Send your vector file (.ai, .eps) and your PDF file to rus@polito.it
• fill in the form that you can find at the following link by December 12.

Evaluation
A group of RUS representatives named by the Coordinating Committee will evaluate the projects from a creative, graphic and meaning point of view. The selection process will end by mid-January 2022. The results will be published on the RUS website. 
Prize
The selected project will be the cover for the 2021 RUS Report that will be presented during several national and international events and published on the RUS website and social networks. The name of the author will be listed in the credits. 
All the covers received will be published in a dedicated section of the RUS website.

NOTE FOR PARTICIPANTS: By joining the initiative, participants declare and guarantee that the contents of the material submitted are original and that they do not violate the copyright and related rights, commercial exploitation rights, and industrial and intellectual property rights of any person or entity. By sending the material, participants authorize RUS to publish the material online and offline and to make it available to the public, even after the end of this contest, with the possibility of using the graphic material received in various combinations and solutions, outside the formal recognition as a work promoted and supported by RUS. Participants who have uploaded material that is indecorous, offensive, contrary to the common sense of decency or in any case not in line with the spirit of the competition will not be admitted to the contest, at the sole discretion of the organizers. Such material will not be published on communication channels.
