Just The Woman I Am 2024 - March 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

A total of 28,800 individuals chose to support university research against cancer by participating in Just The Woman I Am 2024, a now-famous fundraising and awareness event held on March 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. These numbers represent a milestone never before achieved by one of Turin's most beloved and widely shared events, organized by the Torinese University Sports Center in collaboration with the Polytechnic University and the University of Turin, now in its eleventh edition.

The non-competitive 5-kilometer run-walk, the central moment of the event, started on Sunday, March 3rd, from Piazza Vittorio Veneto, ending at Piazza San Carlo. Another record-breaking figure was the number of participating groups: 362 from across Italy and abroad. However, JTWIA was not solely a sporting event. Piazza San Carlo was transformed into a Prevention Village for the three days of the event, featuring over 90 booths open to schools and the public.
