New RUS Coordinating Committee elected for the three-year period 2022 - 2024

Seventy-five Delegates attended the General Assembly of the Italian Network of Universities for Sustainable Development on Friday, February 11, 2022 in attendance and remotely.

In the setting of the Valentino Castle of the Politecnico di Torino, coordinator of the Network in the three-year period 2019 - 2021, President Patrizia Lombardi and the coordinators of the Working Groups presented the activities for the three-year period 2019 - 2021 and highlighted the development and achievements of the Network to which 81 universities now belong. The Chair also took the opportunity to thank the members and members of the outgoing Coordinating Committee and the coordinators and coordinators of the Working Groups for their efforts during this three-year period.

Voting for the new Coordination Committee for the three-year period 2022 - 2024 also took place during the assembly time. With the participation of 92.6 percent of those eligible to vote, Politecnico di Bari, Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, Università degli Studi "G. D'Annunzio" Chieti Pescara, Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro, Università degli Studi di Brescia, Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza”, Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata, Università di Pisa, Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria in addition to Politecnico di Torino, nominated by CRUI, were elected. Voting took place online via the open source platform "Eligere."

The chairperson of the next coordination committee will be identified from within the new coordination committee and appointed by the latter during its first meeting.
