On the occasion of the EWWR, the Green Office organized a visit to the Revet plant, a leading industry in the integrated waste management cycle.

The purpose of the visit was to get a close look at the plastic and glass recycling process - namely, those packaging materials that are discarded initially - and encourage everyone to engage in awareness actions regarding the sustainable management of resources and waste.

Approximately 35 UniFi students participated in the initiative. They had the opportunity to witness the processing cycle of plastic waste until its transformation into reusable granules used for creating various items, including lightweight tiles, driveways, planters, pots, household tools, compost bins, children's toys, and articles for construction, furniture, and automotive, even using 3D printers.
