EVENT
Climb to the Galassi Refuge, located at 2,018 m. at Forcella Piccola on Mount Antelao in the Dolomites. Not just a "hike" but a way to reflect and dialogue about mountain issues by being in the mountains, walking, observing and dialoguing, making the trails and the refuge become places for experts and scholars to meet, reflect and discuss. A delegation will spend two days in the refuge reflecting on how climate change is changing (and will change) life in the mountains in many ways: from tourism to crops, from hydraulic regime to settlement security, to the development of new plant and animal species.
THEMATIC FOCUS
To promote the themes of Agenda 2030 through knowledge and appreciation of territories, sharing research and projects, reiterating how the development and well-being of a community depends on the conservation of natural resources and the quality of the environment, to be protected and passed on to future generations.
