The establishment of the Subnetwork aims to strengthen the role of universities as strategic players in regional sustainability policies, fostering more effective sharing of knowledge, experiences, and best practices, as well as a structured connection between the activities of the universities and those of the RUS. Its main objectives include the promotion of joint initiatives to be submitted to the RUS Coordination Committee and, above all, the development of shared proposals for the sustainable development of universities and regions, to be brought to the attention of the Lazio Region and local institutions, socioeconomic groups, and cultural stakeholders. The Subnetwork therefore serves as a forum for convergence and proposals, capable of integrating the wealth of scientific and cultural expertise of the universities of Lazio and strengthening their ability to contribute, in a coordinated manner, to the definition and implementation of regional policies for ecological, social, and economic transition.
