With the aim of raising awareness among the university community about waste reduction, reuse and recycling as well as the valorization of resources, the Università di Bologna, in collaboration with the Plastic Free association, will organize two waste collection actions in Bologna on the occasion of the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR): on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the Engineering building in Via del Risorgimento 2, and on Friday, Nov. 25, at the Cittadella Universitaria in the areas around Piazza Giuseppe Verdi. Both meetings will be filled with thematic insights by university professors and researchers. This will be an important moment of confrontation with other institutions in the area engaged in raising awareness of these issues and an opportunity for the university community to actively contribute to change. To continue raising the awareness of the university community, collection actions will continue in the coming months in other locations of the University, with an ideal passing of the baton to represent the civil and environmental commitment undertaken.
