Workshop on Greenhouse Gas Inventories of Universities and Their Offsetting
On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, the workshop titled "Methods for Validation and Verification of Greenhouse Gas Inventories Drafted by Universities and Their Offsetting: The Perspective of Certification Bodies" was held
The meeting was organized by the Climate Change Working Group of the RUS, coordinated by the University of Genoa.
The objective of the workshop was to provide an overview of the evolution of regulations and reference standards related to the drafting of greenhouse gas inventories and compensation methods, with particular attention to the critical issues that universities may encounter in their application.
The event was hosted by the Politecnico di Milano and held in a hybrid format.
