Climbing for Climate Sixth Edition

"Climbing for Climate" (CFC) is a demonstrative initiative organized by the RUS Network and the Italian Alpine Club (CAI) to raise awareness locally, nationally, and internationally about the ongoing effects of climate change in light of the UN's 2030 Agenda goals. Specifically, it focuses on combating climate change (SDG13) and promoting life on land/protecting biodiversity (SDG15), as well as advancing sustainable tourism (SDG8) and social and economic inclusion for those living in peripheral areas (SDG10), and supporting sustainable communities (SDG11).

Now in its sixth edition, CFC6 has taken on a "national" dimension, with the event organized and coordinated by the University of Brescia in collaboration with the RUS Universities of the Veneto Region and the University of Trento, scheduled for September 7-8 on the Marmolada.

Starting in 2024, the initiative's expanded version is branded as "Action for Climate", with events organized by RUS universities from September 9 to October 31, 2024.
