During a seminar held for students as part of the interdisciplinary course on Environmental Sustainability led by Professor Giulio Mario Cappelletti, the actions adopted by the University of Foggia for the proper management of electronic waste were explained. In particular, initiatives were implemented to recover still functioning but non-performing devices, intending to donate them to volunteer associations.

Several components of electronic devices were salvaged as spare parts for other similar apparatuses or used to build certain devices using recovered parts. Some historically significant devices were exhibited in an internal museum.
