On Saturday, September 28, the University of Insubria is organizing a guided tour open to the entire academic community to "Sasso del Ferro". a small peak above the town of Laveno Mombello, reaching an altitude of 1062 meters, located on the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore.

University professors Bruno Cerabolini, plant ecologist, Fabio Conti, environmental engineer, Adriano Martinoli, zoologist, along with the environmental expert of the Comunità Montana Valli del Verbano, Federico Pianezza, will demonstrate the tangible effects of climate change on biodiversity and the environment, also evaluating the direct and indirect consequences of these impacts on our daily lives.

The excursion will also be attended by the Rus representatives for the University, the Rector's Delegate for Sustainable Development, Elena Maggi, applied economist, and representatives of the Safety and Sustainability Office of Insubria.
